My experience with Privat Sygeplejerske ApS has been very professional and safe. Our private nurse was assigned to my parents and she got to know them quickly and gave them really good treatment and respect. It was really helpful to have a professional by your side, with whom you could go through the process and better understand how the treatment went.

We have benefited from Privat Sygeplejerske ApS for both our parents, who unfortunately died 1.5 years apart. It made it much easier for us to have elderly parents who wanted to be "carried" out of their own home and didn't want to be a bother anywhere. They didn't want our help. First of all, it was our mother, who had a hard time taking care of all her various diseases. First Margit came and helped us see the options we had - and then she sent Charlotte, an extremely caring and skilled nurse, whom we really liked. My mother was helped to visit the hospital, her medication was set correctly and she was taught to use her whistle. Her quality of life improved noticeably and Charlotte was also great at helping mum with personal care and a chat. We and our mother enjoyed it to the fullest. Unfortunately, our mother was hospitalized with a ruptured appendix - here we first had Charlotte in the process at the hospital, where she really stepped into character and helped us to get the doctors' words translated into something we could understand - and not least she got the family together, so we were all present when she breathed for the very last time. Charlotte really made a difference to us and helped us to say goodbye to our mother in a good and loving way. After our mother's death, our father "took over" Charlotte's care and help with daily tasks. He needed a loving person to help with the many different tasks he usually had our mother do - and for which he did not want our help. It became a wonderful friendship between the two of them, and our father - like our mother - received a lot of help, including visits to the hospital when he had to have a check-up for his bad kidneys. Although we tried to help our father where we could, it was just much easier for Charlotte. The two had developed a trusting friendship, which gave him a revival and a joy for life and the time after our mother's death. During the last period of talking about dialysis, another nurse was connected - in time for our father to get to know her. Pia was her name - also really kind and competent. Margit felt it was important that our father was comfortable with the visits, especially if they were to intensify over time. It was never necessary. Dad never made it to dialysis, but as late as the night our dad died, he was in touch with Charlotte - via text message. He was so pleased and comfortable with her. I never imagined that Privat Sygeplejerske ApS would make such a difference to my parents in their final years of life. For both of them, it was safe and pleasant to be visited and helped by a competent nurse who really went the extra mile to provide care. And it succeeded completely. We are deeply grateful and can highly recommend this service to anyone who has parents of older age and who would very much like to be on their own. Special thanks to Privat Sygeplejerske ApS, Margit, Charlotte, Pia, and all the others. You have made a huge difference to us.

We used this as an extra support during the night in the hospital, both in relation to the nursing task, care, professional input, an extra hand to hold during difficult nights, and not least for good conversations about the process while it was going on.
